NOUN CLAUSES
We can use Noun Clauses after the following.
1)      It’s + be + adjective/present participle
a)      Common adjectives here are: certain, disappointing, interesting, surprising, possible, probable, odd, believed
i)        It’s believed that the place is haunted.
ii)       It’s odd that he don’t know it.
iii)     It’s interesting that we go for a walk some day.
2)      It’s + be + a + noun or phrase
i)        It’s a pity that he can’t speak French.
ii)       It’s a good thing you have a map with you
iii)     It’s a shame that she often comes late for school.
3)      Subject + be + adjective/past participle
a)      Common adjectives are certain, sure, glad, sorry, afraid
b)      Common participles are disappointed, delighted, pleased, relieved, surprised
i)        I’m certain that she will come on time.
ii)       She is surprised that I got good grade.
4)      Certain abstract nouns
a)      Common nouns are belief, fact, knowledge, hope, fear, news, report, rumor, suspicion
i)        The fact that she loves me makes her shocked.
ii)       The rumor that he has a new job surprises me.
5)      Certain verbs
i)        He pointed out that I had made a mistake.
ii)       She admitted that she had told a lie.
iii)     I saw that Lidia was worried.
6)      Beginning with wh- word; what, when, how, where, where
i)        I saw what she did.
ii)       She explained what had happened.
